One of my favorite parts of working on the West Side has always been easy access to Milo and Olive -- and it only seemed fitting to enjoy a celebratory farewell business lunch in this hallowed pizza hall. I love that the restaurant's menu allows you to make a meal as light (like an asparagus and market baby green salad with hazelnut aillade, avocado, pickled carrots, feta, mint, and lemon vinaigrette) or decadent (see the garlic knot, sitting in a glorious pool of extra virgin olive oil) as one chooses for lunch -- fun fact I may also have been unable to resist several slices of a non-pictured mushroom pizza as well. Savoring a Grapefruit Sparkler cocktail alongside this ideal array of wood-fired food made for the perfect early work-day escape, and afforded equally delectable leftovers for dinner!
