Billed as "a market rooted in tradition," Downtown LA's Arts District is home to Urban Radish, a gem of a grocery store that is a gourmet food purveyor a-la Bristol Farms meets eclectic local farmer's market.  From Ohio-produced Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, to jams from Silverlake's Sqirl, to local craft beers and the store's own branded coffee beans, Urban Radish is a delightful blend of what makes Downtown -- and Los Angeles as a whole -- so unique.  A former glass-manufacturing warehouse, the 8,000-square-foot market is a beautiful collective of foodie-pleasing treats and produce, paired with a well-stocked deli and outdoor patio area (and an electric-car charging station to boot!) amidst an otherwise decidedly "gritty" urban neighborhood setting.
